Fall Essential Oils Diffuser Blend
It’s that time again! My favorite turn of season: Summer into Fall. I just love the crisp cool air, cozy sweaters and smells of fall. Fall essential oil blends are some of my favorites. I used to go all out on the fall scented candles this time of year, but you know what’s WAY better than candles in the home? Diffusing essential oils. Here’s why.
Essential oils are extracted from plants and seeds, capturing all the nutrients that have amazing health benefits. Many of them actually have anti-bacterial properties and even mood enhancing properties. Diffusing essential oils in your home literally cleans the air you breathe and breathing that air gives you all the health benefits.
My fall essential oil blend uses 3 oils to create that cozy warm scent. Each of them have wonderful health benefits:

- Distilled water (filled to the line on your diffuser) – get it at the grocery store
- 3 drops cinnamon bark essential oil
- 3 drops ginger essential oil
- 3 drops orange essential oil

- Fill your diffuser to the line with distilled water.
- Add the essential oils and put the top on.
- Turn it on!
Essential Oils Bedtime Linen Spray
Essential oils are the best for all kinds of DIY home and personal products. You just need a few simple ingredients + containers that you can get on amazon and you can start creating cleaning sprays, lip balms, creams, bug spray, massage oil blends and the list goes on!
I use this bedtime linen spray just about every night for multiple purposes. First, the lavender and ylang ylang essential oils help with sleep and relaxation. I don’t know about you but I find that my mind is racing at bedtime with thoughts from the day or to-do lists and I love having something that helps me wind down for bed. Second, essential oils have anti-microbial properties so it helps keep your pillow and sheets clean! And last but not least, it smells lovely 🙂

Essential Oils Containers
Essential oils should not be stored in plastic containers since the properties can break down the plastic, destroy the oil and cause leakage. You should always use glass when making your own home products to be on the safe side. I get mine here.
How To Use
Spray a spritz or two on your pillow or sheets as you’re getting into bed. Slow down your breathing with long and deep inhales and exhales as you breathe in the oils. Goodnight!
- 1 oz distilled water
- 1 oz witch hazel –where to get
- 12 drops lavender essential oil – where to get
- 12 drops ylang ylang essential oil – where to get
- 1 glass spray bottle – where to get
- Combine ingredients into glass spray bottle. Shake before using.
- Spray once or twice on your pillow and/or sheets as you’re getting into bed and enjoy a restful sleep!
Natural DIY Lip Balm with Essential Oils
Lip balms and chapsticks from the store can have tons of unnecessary and potentially harmful chemicals in them. That’s why I’ve decided to make my own! I love DIY recipes that are super simple (who doesn’t?) and save you money! It’s so nice to know exactly what’s in your personal products. Did you know that there are very little regulations on what chemicals can be used in our personal care products? The numbers are mind-blowing. They also don’t even have to disclose what’s in them! Which is why a lot of people are using these simple diy recipes.

I called these Bri’s Wax (hehe) and Trav made me these adorable little labels! I gave these out as Christmas gifts for friends and coworkers the last couple years and people loved them! The coconut oil gives it a little shine so it can wear almost like a clear lip gloss. It soothes your lips and keeps them moisturized.
What you’ll need to make these lip balms:
1/2 oz tin containers – where to get
Beeswax – where to get
Coconut Oil – where to get
Essential Oils of your choice – where to get
- 3 Tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 5 Tablespoons beeswax, melted
- 12 drops essential oils
- Microwave coconut oil and beeswax in a glass bowl. Stir every 30 seconds or so.
- Add essential oils
- Stir gently and pour into containers.
- Let set (10 min or so).
- Screw on tops.
- I made little labels on the computer and cut them out to glue on tops.
